Being Change

16 Feb

I laid in bed this morning, not quite awake, drifting in the awareness of NOW, but still firmly connected to the Everything. It is in this place that your mind can be reshaped, remolded, and set free – but it is also a place where parasites can come to feed off of YOU, if you are unaware.

But back to my bed… I lay there, my thoughts drifting over the world as if I were flying just above it – an observer perhaps – and I saw many things from this perspective. Hunger around the world, war in many nations which have lived this way for most of their history. I ALSO saw people of the world watching these things happen and doing nothing about it. I saw valuable ecosystems destroyed for short-term profit, ecosystems that destabilize the entire planet when missing… but still, as an observer, I saw that we do nothing.

I believe we feel powerless and sit on our hands. I have felt this way most of my life. We see these problems of the world and they hurt our hearts. Not all have grown apathetic, yet we continue to surrender in the face of these issues, almost becoming blind to them – because we FEEL powerless to stop them. Why?

Let ALL reading these words HEAR - you are NOT powerless, but you are the vehicles of change. Do not wait for something to be delivered to you, while you watch the planet crumble around you. This will only result in failure for ALL life on the planet.

Many readers will say a challenge and end to hunger and war are brave words. How could they be true? The Truth is that what we see every day, what we lament over and all desire would end — is OUR creation.

When you look into the world and see that there is racial discrimination, just as one example – what feelings inside of you does that summon up? Do you judge your fellow-man for what HE has done and what he continues to do? Instead, turn that judgement, that careful eye, towards yourself – for the world is simply a reflection of self. Do YOU have racially divisive thoughts in YOUR head? Why do you have them? Think about it, honestly, sincerely.

Many people when faced with that question want to reject it. No one WANTS to discriminate, but we do it. We want to identify ourselves as NOT that, but is that how we REALLY are? Is that how we ACTUALLY FEEL? As long as the feelings remain the cycle of separation will continue. This is the same for all other matters – hunger, war, pollution, etc. But this is not an endless cycle. If we decide to stop, we can.

Until we begin to look inward and identify the parts of OURSELVES we don’t want, the parts that DON’T define who we are and who we WANT to be, change can not occur.

So that takes us to the next step – if you identify that you are the problem STOP! NOW! Do it today. It is a conscious decision, a right that every human being is born with, the ability to make a choice.

Don’t judge yourself and feel guilt and shame, this is destructive and solves nothing. Forgive yourself. Relieve the evilness from the act and just know that it does not represent you any longer, then change. Don’t judge others. Allow them the TIME to change as you did. Not everyone changes at the same pace.

This is why we have so many conflicts with laws. People are not given TIME to change, to learn that they are not THAT. When you FORCE someone to change they will rebel, resist, often running towards the opposite of your desired result. No human wants to be FORCED to do anything. It is a God-given right to have freedom of choice. Let them make it, but take it a step further and let them make it WITHOUT your judgement. People WANT to make the higher choice – they are born with it in them, despite all the darkness that has covered them up inside – there ALWAYS burns a light connected to God and that higher choice. We all want to do the right thing, but we keep getting in each other’s way, because of JUDGEMENT.

Make a list of the things in the world you dislike and desire to change, then look inward and identify what is about YOU that continues to turn this cycle of destruction. It doesn’t have to be this way, choose a new WAY. The straight and narrow. You will begin by yourself, for how could you change the world if you first did not change yourself?

Then BE the change you are looking for. LIVE it, SAY it, Speak the Truth. People fear change and so it has become a demon. Real or imagined – it will be up to you to decide. Either way we all feel the influence – THAT is real and until we conquer the FEAR and DARKNESS inside each of our own hearts we will continue to struggle, for those fears and that darkness ARE hidden demons we all carry with us. And they bind us because we don’t know they are there and we allow them to stay. We are only restricted in our freedom because we allow ourselves to get this way. This does not have to BE so.

Every day is a new chance to turn YOUR life in a new direction. Stop worrying about the past. Stop holding onto its pain. It is gone. What can you learn from it? What must you NOT do again? How can it heal you?

Stop thinking of the future, it hasn’t happened yet and is forever changing, altered with our every thought, word, and deed. Our choices RIGHT NOW create the days you will see tomorrow, so NOW is the time to make a change and then BE the change. I’ve read this statement before, in other places, but never before now did I realize how true it really is. The moment of NOW is where we all need to be. How many of us are here? Are you here me now? Are you going to stay with me?

Don’t wait for a group or a government to BE the change for you. The only one that can save YOU is yourself. When YOU change and then BECOME the change, THEN others will follow. Then together we can make the change.

Together we rebuild our paradise.

Again – I stress – Do not force another to change and do not judge them for their decisions. Everyone deserves the right to make choices, to walk their path, and see their revelations in the way that it unfolds for them. Your judgement only denies them that. Instead of judgement, live your highest choice, BE the Truth, and find others who will share it with you. Change will not be overnight, but there is a lot to change, so perhaps that is good.

All my thanks to God for the inspiration. Without this grand Source of ALL THINGS I would never have found my Way.

Learning to let go of judgement is very hard. On some level, I think it’s human nature. Letting go of attempts to control how people see and judge me, letting them “be wrong about me” is something I continue to struggle with. I guess that’s the flip side: Judge not lest you be judged.

No judgement is key to turning the world around for Us, but also is the knowledge that we are not alone. Each of us, on a personal level, has to realize that in our own Way.
